Maharashtra Polls: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday (January 12, 2025) took a dig at Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray over the Maharashtra Assembly election results, saying that these elections have shown them their place. Shah said that in 1978, Sharad Pawar had started ‘Daga-Fatka’ politics in Maharashtra, which was rejected by the public in 2024. Along with this, the people of Maharashtra also rejected Uddhav Thackeray’s politics of dynasticism and betrayal.

Amit Shah said, “The people of Maharashtra have made it clear that Eknath Shinde That Shiv Sena is Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s group is the real NCP. The people of Maharashtra have rejected the politics of betrayal of Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray.”

Amit Shah has attacked the opposition India Alliance regarding the results of Maharashtra Assembly elections. He expressed confidence of his party’s victory in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also praised Amit Shah and said that Lok Sabha electionsAfter this the party workers had become demoralized. Fadnavis said, “Then Amit Shah talked to thousands of workers and assured them that victory is ahead even after defeat. The party achieved this victory in the assembly elections and I Amit Shah I am grateful to ji.”
